AFP agriculture et cultures spéciales
Profil professionnel
Les agropraticiens/nes exercent une activité pratique riche et diversifiée au service de l‘agriculture, de ses branches spéciales et du secteur alimentaire. Ils apprécient de travailler en équipe, au contact de la nature et des animaux. Des installations techniques et des machines modernes font partie intégrante de leur quotidien. C’est pourquoi les agropraticiens s’intéressent aussi bien à la mécanisation qu’aux installations techniques.
Orientations
Lors de la formation d’agropraticien, il est possible de choisir l’une des trois orientations suivantes: agriculture, cultures spéciales (fruits, légumes, raisins), vinification.
Formation et titre délivré
L’apprentissage se déroule sur 2 ans. La formation pratique est acquise au sein d’une exploitation active dans la spécialisation choisie. L’enseignement théorique est dispensé par les écoles cantonales d’agriculture.
Le titre délivré à l’issue de la formation est une attestation fédérale pratique (AFP).
Formation continue
Les titulaires d’une AFP d’agropraticien peuvent poursuivre leur formation en vue de l’obtention, en deux ans seulement (formation accélérée), d’un Certificat fédéral de capacité (CFC). CFC en poche, ils voient s’ouvrir devant eux toutes les voies de la formation professionnelle supérieure: brevet fédéral, maîtrise fédérale et écoles supérieures.
